Rumor Oct 8, 2026 Cyberleek is back with 25 minutes of GTA 6 footage, and part of it is first-person driving Six weeks after going quiet, Cyberleek released a video of about 25 minutes on October 8, 2026, titled Extended Leek after Rockstar's Extended Look. Outlets that watched it describe off-road and street racing, a mud club, car tuning, story cutscenes, nudity, and several minutes of first-person driving in what looks like a development build. Nobody has independently verified it, and Rockstar has said nothing yet. We do not link it.
Official Oct 8, 2026 GTA 6's first six radio stations: Flash FM returns, Bad Bunny and Lana Del Rey host, and the radio works on foot Rockstar named six GTA 6 radio stations on October 8, 2026, with previews on its music page: Cocoteo FM, Back Country Radio, AfroBank FM, The Chamber 106.6, Flash FM and Dirty South Classics. Hosts reported by the press include Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Morgan Wallen, Robyn, Slayer's Kerry King and Tom Araya, Burna Boy, Trick Daddy and Trina. Radio and new on-demand podcasts play on foot through in-game earbuds. More stations are coming, including classic rock and talk radio. V-Rock is still not named.
Rumor Oct 7, 2026 Discord is reportedly preparing a GTA 6 theme for launch week, from November 17 to December 8 A Discord dataminer found GTA VI references in a Discord Canary test build on October 6, 2026: a limited-time campaign codenamed Hexagon with a GTA 6 app icon, a Vice City colour theme, a custom display-name font and an unnamed Discord Quest. The code runs it from November 17 at 18:00 UTC to December 8, with Nitro subscribers keeping the look until February 15, 2027. Discord removed the references about a day later. Neither Discord nor Rockstar has announced it, and it says nothing about a PC version.
Official Oct 7, 2026 Xbox says GTA 6 will not stream to PC or stream exclusively, a day after The Verge reported both On October 6, 2026 The Verge reported that Xbox had exclusive cloud streaming rights to GTA 6, which would have made it playable on PC at launch. On October 7 Xbox chief strategy officer Matthew Ball said the game will not be streaming exclusively or to PC. The Verge corrected its report. Ball did not rule out Xbox Cloud Gaming on console, and Rockstar has said nothing. GTA 6 is still PS5 and Xbox Series X and S on November 19.
Official Oct 5, 2026 LOVE magazine's GTA 6 cover: a modest American dream, four new images, and Liberty City as Lucia's hometown LOVE issue 27 went on sale October 5, 2026 with one of its six covers given to new Rockstar artwork of Jason and Lucia. The €25 copies sold out in minutes on pre-order. Rockstar's writers frame the pair's goal as a paid-off home rather than an empire, call Lucia driven and Jason reactive, and one writer places Lucia's hometown in Liberty City. That repeats Rockstar's own bio. It is not a playable Liberty City.
Official Oct 2, 2026 GTA 6 is rated M by the ESRB and R18 in New Zealand, and the store pages now say "Sex Scenes" Rockstar swapped the Rating Pending badge for a final ESRB Mature 17+ rating on October 1, 2026. The seven ESRB descriptors are the same seven GTA V carries. New Zealand's PlayStation Store lists R18 with Drug Use, Graphic Violence, Nudity, Offensive Language and Sex Scenes. Australia is R18+. The In-Game Purchases notice points at the paid Ultimate Edition Upgrade, not at a shop inside the story. A missing online label is consistent with a single-player launch. It is not an announcement.
Official Oct 2, 2026 The Miami Heat play as Vice City on November 18, the night before GTA 6 launches The Miami Heat announced A Night in Vice City on October 2, 2026, in partnership with Rockstar Games. On November 18, the night before GTA 6 launches, the Heat host the Milwaukee Bucks at Kaseya Center under the Vice City name, on a one-off court and in a new uniform that has not been shown yet. Tip-off is 7:00 PM ET on ESPN. The Welcome to Vice City sign on the arena roof was lit on October 1, and a Vice City apparel line is on sale at the Heat store.

Two free pages from the cover story confirm tropical storms and hurricanes in Leonida, storms that stay local, puddles and rainbows after the rain, and more than 170 animal species, including cane toads, feral cats and rhesus macaques. The magazine does not know how often the big storms happen or whether they affect missions. Headlines calling the map officially twice the size of GTA 5 are ahead of a sentence Aaron Garbut is quoted as saying.

Completed eBay sales are already two to three times list The liquid-filled limited vinyl of Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album sold out the day it went up. The game is still a download code in a box.

Rumor Sep 17, 2026 Twitch's CEO said GTA 6 multiplayer is coming in 2027. Rockstar has not Dan Clancy told Bloomberg that Twitch talked with Rockstar about its plans, and that a bigger viewership bump comes "next year when they launch multiplayer." That is a named executive speaking after those talks. It is not a Rockstar announcement, and 2027 is a twelve-month window.

He did not say the name Brian Heder. That link still rests on his voice. Rockstar has published no cast list. A podcast later reported a private reminder to the cast that the date to announce a role is still November 19. Rockstar has not confirmed it.

Official Sep 13, 2026 The GTA 6 firings tribunal is under way, and Rockstar's filings describe an online mode it has never announced The final hearing over the 34 developers Rockstar fired in October 2025 opened in Glasgow on September 10 and is listed into mid-October. Rockstar's evidence says two of them discussed "an online 32-player format". That detail is not new: Rockstar's own filing described an unannounced online service in January. What is new is the rest, from drones at the office windows to the workers' claim that Rockstar had an informant in their Discord.

This is not the Miami Beach beach-chair vote, and it is not the City of Miami banner ordinance. Update: the sign was lit on October 1, and on October 2 the Heat announced A Night in Vice City with Rockstar.
Community Sep 11, 2026 A Kissimmee nudist resort is answering fake GTA 6 reviews, and the owners say some came with a bill Cypress Cove Nudist Resort in Kissimmee has been hit with Google reviews that name Jason, Lucia and a binoculars incident from leaked GTA 6 footage. The owners posted that some of those reviews were followed by a demand for money to take them down, and that they will not pay. Rockstar has not named the resort.

Best Buy sold out of the white controller within minutes. Resellers listed them at $130 to $195 against an $84.99 list price. Sony has not said how many were made.

You cannot play the game there. The four hands-on titles are other games. The film is the same 26-minute 49-second showing from August 27, not new footage.

Both are $84.99, five dollars more than the Standard Edition of the game itself, both ship on November 19, and pre-orders open September 10 at 7:00am PT in limited quantities. The black one is a PlayStation Direct exclusive in the markets where it is sold that way. No Xbox controller and no PS5 bundle has been announced.
Rumor Sep 7, 2026 The GTA 6 PC port "sooner than expected" story is one sentence on a podcast VGC editor Andy Robinson said on the September 4 podcast that he thinks Rockstar will push the PC version up and that there is "a bit of noise" about it. That is the whole source. The rising console prices explanation attached to every headline since is the outlets filling in what he meant, not something he said, and Rockstar has still announced no PC version at all.
Rumor Sep 7, 2026 Leaked PS5 Pro Enhanced rules do not say GTA 6 runs at 4K 60, they say Rockstar gets to pick A leaked copy of Sony certification guidelines, attributed to the YouTuber Moore's Law Is Dead, lists four routes to the PS5 Pro Enhanced label and a game needs only one of them. Coverage read the first route as a requirement and produced both a 4K 60 headline and a 4K 30 headline from the same document. Rockstar has still announced no PS5 Pro version of GTA 6.

Rumor Aug 23, 2026 GTA 6 pre-orders estimated at 4.38 million, with 89% taking the $99.99 Ultimate Sensor Tower puts tracked digital pre-orders near 4.38 million and $429 million by mid-August, split 77% PlayStation to 23% Xbox. The edition split is the genuinely unusual number. The tracker read 4.55 million going into the Extended Look, which then produced a 436% day, and Take-Two has still published nothing.
Official Aug 20, 2026 Take-Two goes to federal court to unmask the GTA 6 leaker Subpoenas filed against Microsoft and Discord demand identifying data by September 4, and the scope covers everyone in three Discord servers, not just the leaker. Take-Two has since dropped the YouTube application, filed a narrower one against Discord that it wants sealed, and retracted a copyright notice against a reporter. It calls the investigation rapidly evolving.
Rumor Aug 18, 2026 GTA 6 gameplay leaks nine days before the official reveal Rockstar ended eight days of silence on August 26 and called it videos of GTA 6 gameplay, which settles whether the clips are real. The run finished at seventeen clips on August 27, the day of the Extended Look, after about $250,000 was withdrawn from the token attached to it. On October 8 Cyberleek returned with a single 25-minute file, covered separately.
