Reporting so far is mostly cut GTA 5 DLC, plus early low-quality GTA 6 map renders. It is not a 2026 playable build, and we are not hosting it.

It did not drop a trailer At Take-Two's virtual annual meeting on September 17, Strauss Zelnick restated the November 19 launch, called GTA 6 a single-player title on Xbox and PS5, said there is no recurrent consumer spending on this launch, confirmed 13 launch languages, and said GTA V Online keeps running. No trailer was shown.
Rumor Sep 17, 2026 Twitch's CEO said GTA 6 multiplayer is coming in 2027. Rockstar has not Dan Clancy told Bloomberg that Twitch talked with Rockstar about its plans, and that a bigger viewership bump comes "next year when they launch multiplayer." That is a named executive speaking after those talks. It is not a Rockstar announcement, and 2027 is a twelve-month window.

The studio itself posted nothing. Sharing the art is not a confirmed soundtrack, radio slot, or in-game appearance.
Community Sep 14, 2026 Stephen Root confirms he is in GTA 6, the first actor to do so, and Rockstar still has not Asked by AP at the BAFTA TV Tea Party over Emmy weekend, Stephen Root said 'you're gonna see me in there', the first on-record confirmation from anyone in the GTA 6 cast. He did not say the name Brian Heder. That link still rests on his voice, which he says is what gave it away. Rockstar has published no cast list and has not commented.

Rockstar has confirmed none of it, and nobody has published Xbox times.

Rockstar's evidence says two of them discussed "an online 32-player format". That detail is not new: Rockstar's own filing described an unannounced online service in January. What is new is the rest, from drones at the office windows to the workers' claim that Rockstar had an informant in their Discord.

Journalist Francisco Alvarado reported Basketball Properties, Miami-Dade County and Rockstar finishing a rooftop deal. A Heat spokesperson declined to comment. This is not the Miami Beach beach-chair vote, and it is not the City of Miami banner ordinance.
Community Sep 11, 2026 A Kissimmee nudist resort is answering fake GTA 6 reviews, and the owners say some came with a bill Cypress Cove Nudist Resort in Kissimmee has been hit with Google reviews that name Jason, Lucia and a binoculars incident from leaked GTA 6 footage. The owners posted that some of those reviews were followed by a demand for money to take them down, and that they will not pay. Rockstar has not named the resort.

Best Buy sold out of the white controller within minutes. Resellers listed them at $130 to $195 against an $84.99 list price. Sony has not said how many were made.

It is the first sales figure anyone has attached to the Extended Look. It also shows the Switch 2 up about a third in the same week for an unrelated reason, which is the part the headlines dropped.
Official Sep 10, 2026 Sony built a GTA 6 theater for Tokyo Game Show, and the film on the 300-inch screen is the Extended Look you have already seen PlayStation Japan confirmed on September 10 that its Tokyo Game Show booth will run Grand Theft Auto VI: An Extended Look on a 300-inch screen with floor haptics, from September 17 to 21 at Makuhari Messe. You cannot play the game there. The four hands-on titles are other games. The film is the same 26-minute 49-second showing from August 27, not new footage.
Official Sep 9, 2026 Sony's two GTA 6 DualSense controllers cost more than the game, and pre-orders open September 10 Sony revealed a black and a white Grand Theft Auto VI DualSense at the September 3 State of Play. Both are $84.99, five dollars more than the Standard Edition of the game itself, both ship on November 19, and pre-orders open September 10 at 7:00am PT in limited quantities. The black one is a PlayStation Direct exclusive in the markets where it is sold that way. No Xbox controller and no PS5 bundle has been announced.
Rumor Sep 7, 2026 The GTA 6 PC port "sooner than expected" story is one sentence on a podcast VGC editor Andy Robinson said on the September 4 podcast that he thinks Rockstar will push the PC version up and that there is "a bit of noise" about it. That is the whole source. The rising console prices explanation attached to every headline since is the outlets filling in what he meant, not something he said, and Rockstar has still announced no PC version at all.
Rumor Sep 7, 2026 Leaked PS5 Pro Enhanced rules do not say GTA 6 runs at 4K 60, they say Rockstar gets to pick A leaked copy of Sony certification guidelines, attributed to the YouTuber Moore's Law Is Dead, lists four routes to the PS5 Pro Enhanced label and a game needs only one of them. Coverage read the first route as a requirement and produced both a 4K 60 headline and a 4K 30 headline from the same document. Rockstar has still announced no PS5 Pro version of GTA 6.

The same interview names one daily-life system Rockstar built and then cut.

Rumor Aug 23, 2026 GTA 6 pre-orders estimated at 4.38 million, with 89% taking the $99.99 Ultimate Sensor Tower puts tracked digital pre-orders near 4.38 million and $429 million by mid-August, split 77% PlayStation to 23% Xbox. The edition split is the genuinely unusual number. The tracker read 4.55 million going into the Extended Look, which then produced a 436% day, and Take-Two has still published nothing.
Official Aug 20, 2026 Take-Two goes to federal court to unmask the GTA 6 leaker Subpoenas filed against Microsoft and Discord demand identifying data by September 4, and the scope covers everyone in three Discord servers, not just the leaker. Take-Two has since dropped the YouTube application, filed a narrower one against Discord that it wants sealed, and retracted a copyright notice against a reporter. It calls the investigation rapidly evolving.
Rumor Aug 18, 2026 GTA 6 gameplay leaks nine days before the official reveal Rockstar ended eight days of silence on August 26 and called it videos of GTA 6 gameplay, which settles whether the clips are real. The run finished at seventeen clips on August 27, the day of the Extended Look, after about $250,000 was withdrawn from the token attached to it. Nothing has been posted since.
