Cyberleek is back with 25 minutes of GTA 6 footage, and part of it is first-person driving
Six weeks after going quiet, Cyberleek released a video of about 25 minutes on October 8, 2026, titled Extended Leek after Rockstar's Extended Look. Outlets that watched it describe off-road and street racing, a mud club, car tuning, story cutscenes, nudity, and several minutes of first-person driving in what looks like a development build. Nobody has independently verified it, and Rockstar has said nothing yet. We do not link it.
The leaker behind August’s GTA 6 clips is back, with one long file instead of a drip. On October 8, 2026, a ZIP of more than 370MB surfaced online holding about 25 minutes of footage. RockstarINTEL times the video at 24 minutes and 49 seconds. It is called “Extended Leek,” a jab at Rockstar’s own Extended Look from August 27.
Two things to hold before reading on. Dexerto states that the footage has not been independently verified, and that it is unclear whether it comes from the same person or group as the August run. And Rockstar has not addressed it. Its August 26 statement confirmed that the earlier clips were real GTA 6 gameplay. That statement does not automatically cover a new file six weeks later.
We do not link to the footage, host it, or describe the story it spoils.
How it arrived
Cyberleek had posted nothing since the Extended Look aired. On October 5, visitors to its website found a poll with question marks as both options. RockstarINTEL describes it as donation-based. Voting closed on October 8, and the file appeared the same day, a few hours before Rockstar published its first six radio stations.
Kotaku notes the upload sat on a file host that was overloaded when it wrote, which means copies are already in circulation. Take-Two’s DMCA notices did not hold back the August clips either.
What outlets say is in it
None of the following is confirmed by Rockstar. It is what Kotaku, RockstarINTEL and Dexerto say they saw.
| Segment, as described | Reported by | What it would mean, if it ships |
|---|---|---|
| About nine minutes of off-road racing at the start, including a dirt bike race inside a scripted mission | RockstarINTEL, Kotaku | Racing as story content, not only a side activity |
| A “thrillbilly mud club” | A post quoted by Dexerto | An off-road social spot in the backcountry |
| A street race, car customization, engine tuning, learning to use nitrous | Kotaku, RockstarINTEL | Deeper tuning than a paint-and-wheels garage |
| Several minutes of first-person driving across multiple cars, with first person still on after leaving a car | RockstarINTEL, Kotaku | See the next section |
| A tank appearing at a bridge and waterfall that matches a recent official screenshot | RockstarINTEL | A tank from nowhere is what a debug spawn looks like |
| Cutscenes and missions with story spoilers | Kotaku | We are not repeating them |
| Jason unclothed through most of the footage, Lucia partly | Dexerto, Kotaku | Nudity was already on the ESRB label |
The waterfall match is the closest thing to an authenticity check in the coverage. A location only Rockstar had shown, appearing in the leak, is hard to fake. It is not proof, and a match to a public screenshot can be faked more easily than a whole session.
First person, and why it matters here
This is the only part of the file that touches an open question. On August 27, the Brazilian outlet Flow Games reported from Rockstar North that GTA 6 will not have a complete first-person mode at launch, only first-person aiming with some weapons. Our first-person page has the sourcing.
The leak shows minutes of first-person driving. Both things can be true at once. RockstarINTEL calls the footage in-development, says the first-person camera looks unfinished, and notes the car wing mirrors show no reflections. It suggests the mode may have been cut before launch, and says that is speculation.
So the honest summary is narrow: a first-person driving camera existed in some build of GTA 6. Whether it is in the game on November 19 is the same question it was on October 7, and the only reporting from someone who watched the current game being played still says no.
How old is the build
Nobody has dated it. “In-development” is the only description that recurs. The August clips were eventually placed around 2025, because a radio station in one of them played a song released in January 2025, while placeholder-looking interface elements argued against the shipping build. Nobody has found an anchor like that in this file yet. Either way, a leak is a snapshot of something Rockstar was working on, not the thing you will download on November 12. The reasoning is on whether leak footage represents the final game.
The legal side
Take-Two’s hunt for the leaker has been in federal court since August 20. PC Gamer reports that the sealed request for more Discord user data was granted, with Judge Andrew L. Carter finding “good reason” to issue the subpoena. No one has been publicly named, and nothing in the record says what Microsoft or Discord handed over. The full filing history is on Take-Two goes to federal court.
The August campaign came with demands and a cryptocurrency, covered on the August leak page. Reports on this file do not yet say whether a token is attached.
What it does not change
- The date. November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. Neither company has suggested the leaks affect it.
- What is confirmed. A leak confirms nothing on this site. Mechanics seen in it stay rumors until Rockstar shows them.
- Our policy. Facts about the leak, no links to it, no stills from it, no spoilers from it.
