Artists posted GTA 6 artwork. Rockstar has not named a song, a station, or a role

On September 15 a coordinated set of GTA 6-style images went up on artist accounts, including Travis Scott tagging Rockstar. The studio itself posted nothing. Sharing the art is not a confirmed soundtrack, radio slot, or in-game appearance.

Update, September 17, 2026. Rockstar has now named the campaign. Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is 34 original tracks, six of them streaming, dated to November 19. Travis Scott’s track is RHYNO. PinkPantheress is on Sexy Magic, which retires the hedge in the table below. A named album is still not a radio station, a DJ job, or an in-game cameo. The rest of this page is kept as written on September 15, because the gap between the posts and the confirmation is the point of it.

A cluster of musicians posted Grand Theft Auto VI artwork on September 15, 2026. Rockstar Games did not. Travis Scott tagged the studio. Future, Metro Boomin and Yung Lean posted the same car. Others posted other crops of what looks like one campaign. IGN’s headline treated that as Rockstar beginning to tease the soundtrack. Rockstar Games on X has not posted about it, as of the morning of September 16.

That is the story. The rest of the coverage is filling in a tracklist that nobody has published.

What was actually posted

The posts landed the same day, in the same painted-collage look as Rockstar’s cover art, and several accounts used the same image. That is a campaign, not ten unrelated coincidences.

ComicBook also attributes a yacht post to PinkPantheress. GTA Boom called that account PinkPantheress-linked rather than confirmed. We are not treating that one as settled.

We are not hosting the images. They are Rockstar-style assets sitting on other people’s accounts.

What Travis Scott wrote

Pitchfork transcribed the Instagram caption as:

Phase 1. Now it’s time. My return to game gotta come with rage and a lot of dancing let’s ride. J… O. H… to be continued. See y’all soon @rockstargames.

That is the only caption in the set that names Rockstar. “Return to game” is his wording. He has done game crossovers before. It does not identify a song, a station, or a character.

The initials J. O. H. are being read as Jack of Hearts. That reading is not crazy, and it is not a confirmation. Rockstar’s own bio for Boobie Ike already uses “the Jack of Hearts” as his tagline. He owns a strip club. Scott posted pole-and-heels art. Put together, that is a hint at nightlife, not a credit. Rockstar has not named a club “Jack of Hearts” in a location list.

What this does not confirm

  • A soundtrack. Nobody named a track. Nobody named a station. Nobody said they are a DJ.
  • That Rockstar posted. A studio-run campaign can still go out through artist accounts. Until Rockstar puts the same art on rockstargames.com/VI or its own socials, the evidence is the artists, not the studio.
  • In-game appearances. Dr. Dre walked around in GTA Online. Phil Collins appeared in Vice City Stories. Precedent is not a credit for anyone in this table.
  • Trailer 3. Take-Two’s virtual shareholder meeting is September 17. Several write-ups have tied these posts to a trailer. The meeting’s published agenda is director votes, pay, a charter amendment and the auditor. It does not list a game reveal.

The songs that are actually confirmed, and the ones IGN identified in the Extended Look with the limits attached, stay on the soundtrack page. These posts do not join that list.

The next day

On September 16 Spotify posted photographs of outdoor boards carrying the same art. That follow-up, and what it still does not confirm, is Spotify put the GTA 6 artist art on billboards.
