On November 6, 2025, Rockstar Games announced a second delay for Grand Theft Auto VI, moving the release from May to Thursday, November 19, 2026. The company said the additional months would let the team reach the level of polish players expect.

November 19, 2026 remains the current confirmed release date for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S.
