GTA 6 pushed out of 2025 to a May 26, 2026 target

Rockstar announces Grand Theft Auto VI will miss its 2025 window and sets a new release date of May 26, 2026.

In a May 2025 update, Rockstar Games confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI would not make its originally targeted 2025 window. The company set a new release date of May 26, 2026, and thanked players for their patience while the team finished the game.
