GTA 6 Soundtrack and Radio Stations: Confirmed Songs

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is 34 original tracks, six of them named. Trailer songs, Extended Look identifications, and why there is still no radio station list.

By Thomas Kraaibeek · Updated September 18, 2026

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album is real: 34 original tracks, six of them named and streaming, dated to November 19, 2026. The licensed songs from the two trailers are still confirmed. Rockstar has still not published a radio station list, a DJ list, or the other 28 album titles. Those are different piles. Mixing them into one “full GTA 6 tracklist” is how the fake playlists get made.

Confirmed trailer songs

Every track below appeared in an official Rockstar trailer. Years refer to each song’s original release.

Trailer 1 (December 2023)

  • Love Is a Long Road by Tom Petty, 1989. From the album Full Moon Fever, it scores the reveal trailer and is now tightly linked to the first look at Leonida.

Trailer 2 (May 2025)

  • Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters, 1986. The lead track, playing through most of the second trailer. Its Spotify plays spiked sharply in the days after the trailer dropped.
  • Thunder Island by Jay Ferguson, 1977. Heard early in the trailer.
  • Everybody Have Fun Tonight by Wang Chung, 1986.
  • I Love Rock ‘n’ Roll by The Arrows, 1975. The original version of the song later made famous by Joan Jett.
  • Child Support by Zenglen, a Haitian kompa group. The original release year is not well documented, so treat it as undated here.

That list is complete for the trailers. Those six are licensed recordings heard in official videos. They are not the album announced in September.

The Extended Look added 14 more, with a caveat attached

The Extended Look on August 27, 2026 ran 26 minutes and 49 seconds and carried far more music than a trailer can. IGN identified 14 tracks, and as of publication it is the only outlet with a full list:

SongArtist
Pop BottlesBirdman, Lil Wayne
Pound TownSexyy Red, Tay Keith
SkrillaKodak Black
Let Your Love FlowThe Bellamy Brothers
Love BitesDef Leppard
People Are PeopleDepeche Mode
But I Think It’s a DreamCaptain & Tennille
Cars and GirlsPrefab Sprout
Off the GridChk Chk Chk (!!!) feat. Meah Pace
Devil WomanCliff Richard
Se Me Nota (Agarrame)Chimbala, Omega
Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)Phil Collins
Mine O’ MineAluna, Jayda G
Inner LightElderbrook, Bob Moses

Four things to hold on to before treating this as a soundtrack.

  • It is one outlet’s identification, made while watching a stream. Other outlets independently named Depeche Mode, Def Leppard, The Bellamy Brothers, Sexyy Red and Phil Collins, which corroborates part of the list. The rest is IGN alone.
  • No station attribution exists. Nobody has said which of these played on in-game radio and which were used as score over a montage. That distinction decides whether a track is in the game at all.
  • Only one placement is described. A Phil Collins track is reported as elevator music during the showing’s closing mission, which makes it diegetic. That is the last sequence in the film, not the last mission in the game. Only one outlet besides IGN names the track, so the pairing of that placement with “Against All Odds” is thinly sourced.
  • “Skrilla” is a Kodak Black song title, not the rapper Skrilla, who separately said a track of his would appear. Several write-ups have already merged the two.

No radio station was named in the Extended Look. Every station list circulating in August 2026, including V-Rock sightings, comes from the leaked footage rather than from Rockstar, and we treat it accordingly.

The V-Rock signal

Trailer 2 includes a clear shot of Jason wearing a V-Rock t-shirt. V-Rock was the rock and metal station in the original Vice City, so the shirt reads as a strong hint that the station returns in the rebuilt city. Treat it as a signal, not a confirmation. Rockstar has not named V-Rock, or any station, in official material. A t-shirt is a nod, not a lineup. You can read more about the two leads on the characters page.

Returning vs new stations, what to expect

None of this is confirmed. Rockstar builds each radio lineup around the era and the place, and GTA 6 is set in a modern Vice City inside the state of Leonida. A mix of returning brands and brand-new stations is the historically likely outcome. Reasonable, unconfirmed expectations:

  • V-Rock returning as the rock station, based on the t-shirt sighting.
  • New stations covering modern hip-hop, Latin, reggaeton, and the Haitian and Caribbean sounds that fit Leonida’s communities, including Little Haiti and Little Cuba.
  • A talk or news station in the tradition of Vice City Public Radio, with in-world advertising between songs.

Use these as informed guesses only. Station names are still unannounced. The album in the next section is original tracks, not a station list.

Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album (September 17, 2026)

Rockstar and Atlantic Records announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17, 2026. The Newswire and rockstargames.com/VI/music describe 34 original tracks, dated to November 19 with the game. Six singles are streaming. The other 28 titles have not been named. Full reporting is the album announcement.

Credits below follow Rockstar’s own music page. Pitchfork, IGN and Eurogamer add that RHYNO is produced by Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo.

This is original material recorded for the game. It is not the licensed radio library, and Rockstar has not said these 34 tracks play on in-game stations rather than as score, in-world music, or a companion record. A CD and vinyl exist. The game itself is still a download code in a box.

The September 15 artist posts, and the September 16 Spotify billboards, were the campaign for this record. They are now dated. They still do not confirm a station, a DJ job, an in-game cameo, or Spotify inside the game. Spotify is one of the streaming services carrying the album. That is a distribution deal, not a feature.

Why there is no full radio tracklist yet

Rockstar typically holds radio and music-licensing details until close to launch. GTA 5 shipped with hundreds of licensed tracks spread across well over a dozen stations, and its official soundtrack ran to multiple volumes. GTA 6 will very likely be large too, but the station count, the hosts, and the in-game song list are unknown until Rockstar confirms them. Reports naming specific DJs or exclusive artist-hosted stations are rumors, not facts, and should be read that way.

What is actually confirmed

  • Six licensed songs from official trailers, listed above.
  • Six original singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, with 28 further original tracks unnamed.
  • One visual V-Rock reference on Jason’s shirt in Trailer 2.
  • Fourteen further identifications from the Extended Look, with the limits in that section.
  • No official station list, no DJ names, no in-game Spotify feature.

GTA 6 releases on November 19, 2026 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S. See the release date guide for platform details and the full features breakdown for the rest of what Rockstar has shown. This page updates the moment Rockstar publishes real radio details, so check news for changes.

Frequently asked

What songs are confirmed for the GTA 6 soundtrack?

Two separate lists. Six licensed songs from the official trailers, named below. Six original singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album, with 28 further original tracks still unnamed. Fourteen identifications from the Extended Look carry the caveats in that section.

What is Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album?

Rockstar and Atlantic Records' 34-track collection of original songs, announced September 17, 2026 and dated to November 19 with the game. Six singles are streaming. It is not a radio station list and names no DJs.

Is V-Rock in GTA 6?

Not officially confirmed. Jason wears a V-Rock t-shirt in Trailer 2, which strongly hints the Vice City rock station returns, but Rockstar has not named any station in official material.

Has Rockstar released the GTA 6 radio station list?

No. There is no official station list and no DJ list. The Album names original tracks. It does not name stations. Any complete in-game playlist online is still fan-made or taken from leaks.

What is the main song in the GTA 6 Trailer 2?

Hot Together by The Pointer Sisters, originally released in 1986. It plays through most of the second trailer.

How many radio stations will GTA 6 have?

Unknown. Rockstar has not announced a station count for GTA 6. Past games shipped with well over a dozen stations, but that is not a confirmation for this game.

Is Travis Scott on the GTA 6 soundtrack?

Yes. Rockstar listed Travis Scott's track RHYNO among the six debut singles from Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on September 17, 2026. That is a song credit, not a radio slot or an in-game role.

Will GTA 6 have Spotify in the game?

Not announced. Spotify is one of the streaming services carrying the album, and it posted billboard photos of the campaign art on September 16. Neither fact is an in-game playlist feature.
