Bravado Gauntlet Hellfire

Muscle-car duty in GTA falls to the Bravado Gauntlet, and the Hellfire is its supercharged, wide-body version, spotted in the second trailer. The base Gauntlet is modeled on the Dodge Challenger, and the Hellfire leans into the modern Challenger SRT Hellcat, its name a direct nod to that engine.

The original Challenger arrived in 1970, late to a fight that was already ending. Dodge had spent the decade watching Ford and Chevrolet sell Mustangs and Camaros, and by the time its answer reached showrooms, insurance surcharges and emissions rules were closing the era down. It lasted four model years. Dodge revived the nameplate in 2008 with bodywork that copied the 1970 car closely enough to be legible from a distance, and unlike its rivals it stayed a large, heavy, straight-line car rather than chasing lap times.

The Hellcat is what happened when that indifference to lap times was taken to its conclusion. In 2015 Dodge dropped a supercharged 6.2-litre V8 rated at 707 horsepower into it, more than any Ferrari sold that year, and shipped it with two keys: a black one that capped the car at 500 horsepower, and a red one that did not.

Later Redeye and Demon versions pushed further, the Demon being factory-built for drag strips to the point that it was banned by the NHRA for running too quick without a roll cage.

Bravado is the series' brand for American muscle, so the Gauntlet has long been its Charger and Challenger analogue. Rockstar has confirmed nothing about the GTA 6 car beyond its appearance in Trailer 2. No output figure, no handling data, no price.
