"Pastel art deco hotels and bright white sands" is the phrase Rockstar uses for Ocean Beach in its Vice City area description. The district models Miami's South Beach, the same strip of Ocean Drive Deco facades and tourist crowds that defined the 1986-set original. The name carries over directly: Ocean Beach was the southern district of 2002's Vice City map.

Trailer 2 lingers on the shoreline here, packed with sunbathers, joggers, and cyclists along a walkable boardwalk lined with vendors, some of the densest pedestrian crowds shown in any GTA 6 footage so far. Rockstar files it under the wider "Everything in Excess" pitch for Vice City, still billed as "the sun and fun capital of America." Exact boundaries between the neighboring beachfront districts have not been mapped officially, so the split from Washington Beach and the VC Port remains approximate and drawn mostly from community study of the trailers.
