Jason's default sidearm is one of the more concretely documented guns in the pre-release arsenal. The Girardi ES9 is modeled on the Beretta 92FS, the open-slide, short-recoil 9mm that served as the US military's M9 for over three decades, recognizable here by its distinctive cutaway slide and rounded trigger guard. It shows up in official Rockstar screenshots and anchors Ultimate Edition promotional material as Jason's personalized weapon.
Unlike the recurring 1911 or AK types, the ES9 is a fresh name rather than a returning series staple, debuting with GTA 6 and paired against Lucia's Klose K17 as the his-and-hers pistol duo. Preorder Ultimate Edition buyers reportedly receive a customized variant. Rockstar has confirmed the gun, its Beretta basis, and its role, but stats such as magazine capacity and the full range of tints and attachments are not yet detailed.
