Bravado Bison

A full-size pickup in Bravado's lineup, the Bison stands in for an American workhorse truck, most often compared to the Dodge Ram Quad Cab it borrows its proportions from. It appears in a highway shot in the second trailer.

The Ram it copies is a specific and consequential truck. Dodge had been a distant third in full-size pickups for years when it redesigned the Ram for 1994 with a nose that borrowed openly from heavy-duty semis: a raised hood, dropped fenders, and a grille scaled up out of proportion to everything else on the road. It was a risk, and Dodge's own clinic testing reportedly produced polarised reactions. Sales went up roughly fourfold. Every full-size pickup sold in North America since has drifted toward that face.

The Quad Cab followed in 1998, adding rear doors and a back seat to a body style that had previously assumed two occupants and a load. That is the configuration that turned pickups into family vehicles, and it is the shape the Bison reproduces. The Bison has run through GTA since San Andreas as ordinary civilian traffic and light work transport rather than an object of desire. For GTA 6 it has been spotted in trailer footage and nothing further. Rockstar has published no towing, payload, or handling detail for any vehicle.
