The obvious model is the Florida Keys, the real archipelago curling southwest from the mainland along the Overseas Highway and its Seven Mile Bridge. That water-first culture of fishing charters, sandbars, and waterfront bars maps directly onto what Rockstar describes. The Keys give Leonida a distinct southern frontier separate from Vice City's urban core. As an officially confirmed region it stands on firmer ground than the map's fan-named counties, though specific missions or activities there have not been detailed beyond the boating and nightlife the promotional text mentions.
