GTA 6 Collectibles Guide

A pre-launch primer on GTA 6 collectibles. What to expect from series precedent like hidden packages and stunt jumps, plus a full launch-day map.

SixShore · Updated July 22, 2026

This is a pre-launch primer. The complete GTA 6 collectibles guide, with exact locations, category checklists, and interactive maps, publishes on launch day, November 19, 2026.

Rockstar has not revealed a single collectible set, count, or reward for Grand Theft Auto VI. Nothing about collectibles in this game is confirmed. What follows is what to expect, drawn from more than twenty years of series precedent. Every number below refers to a past game, not GTA 6. Treat all of it as expectation until the map fills in on release day.

What a collectible is in GTA

In every mainline Grand Theft Auto, collectibles are small items scattered across the open world. You can usually start grabbing them the moment the map opens, long before the story ends. They exist to reward exploration and to push you toward 100 percent completion. Past games have tied them to cash, free weapons, vehicle spawns, and a dedicated completion trophy or achievement.

The collectible types we expect

Consider this a checklist of categories that have appeared before and could return. None of them is confirmed for GTA 6.

Hidden packages (expected)

Hidden packages are the oldest collectible in the series. GTA III and GTA Vice City each hid 100 of them. In Vice City, every package paid Tommy Vercetti 100 dollars, and every ten collected dropped a new weapon at your safehouses. A Tiki Statue in GTA Online reuses Vice City’s exact hidden-package collection sound, which fans read as a wink toward the format returning. That is a fan observation, not a Rockstar statement.

Stunt jumps (expected)

Stunt jumps are ramps placed around the map that you hit at speed to launch a vehicle through the air. GTA 5 had 50 unique stunt jumps, each with its own landing target. They reward driving skill more than searching, and they have appeared in nearly every 3D-era GTA.

Set hunts: spaceship parts and letter scraps (expected)

Some collectibles feed a side story. GTA 5 scattered 50 spaceship parts that only appeared after starting the “Far Out” side mission, plus 50 letter scraps that slowly revealed the Leonora Johnson murder mystery. Finding a full set unlocked missions, trophies, and lore. This narrative-linked style of collectible is a strong candidate to return in some form.

Photo, wildlife, and water collectibles (speculation)

Leonida is built around water and nature, so setting-specific collectibles would fit. Past games point the way. San Andreas had 50 snapshots you captured with a camera and 50 oysters hidden underwater, while GTA 4 tasked you with shooting 200 pigeons across Liberty City. GTA 6 has confirmed swamps, keys, diving, fishing, and a detailed wildlife roster, which makes underwater or photo-based hunts plausible. This is speculation only. See the confirmed features and the map of Leonida for the terrain these could use.

Rewards and 100 percent completion

Across the series, collectibles have paid out in familiar ways: small cash sums per pickup, free weapons that respawn at your safehouse, a rare vehicle, and a 100 percent completion reward. San Andreas, for example, handed over 100,000 dollars and multiple weapon spawns for finishing its horseshoe and snapshot sets. Whether GTA 6 keeps this structure, and what any reward is, remains unknown. Do not trust any specific GTA 6 count or payout you see before launch.

What Rockstar has actually confirmed

On collectibles, effectively nothing. Rockstar has confirmed the setting, the state of Leonida centered on Vice City, the two protagonists, Jason Duval and Lucia Caminos, and activities such as hunting and fishing. It has not published a 100 percent checklist, a collectible list, or any pickup counts. Anyone claiming exact GTA 6 collectible numbers right now is guessing or repeating a leak. See our release date and locations pages for what is actually locked in.
